My Dauntless won

WebI didn't play the game for a few days, now whenever I try to open it the play button on the launcher doesn't do anything, I tried opening the EXE file directly from the folder which works but then it forces the game to close cause you have to open it from the launcher, if anyone has any ideas please help.
